September - Dennis Boccardi
Dennis is the son of Dennis and Kim Boccardi. He has been involved in clubs, sports and extracurricular activities all 4 years at Unity. He has participated in Scholastic Bowl and Academic Challenge as well as played Saxophone for 7 years and oftentimes has played the National Anthem at indoor Unity sporting events. He has run track in the past and has been a 4 year member of the UHS golf team and will play basketball his Senior year. He has been on the high honor roll and a member of the SAA since his freshman year.
In his free time Dennis enjoys reading, fishing, golfing, playing basketball, listening to all kinds of music, playing cards, board games, practicing saxophone and teaching himself piano.
After graduation, Dennis plans to attend a University and pursue a degree in mechanical engineering.

October - Ashlynn Arnsman
Ashlynn is the daughter of Dan and Tricia Arnsman. She has been involved in numerous clubs and extracurricular activities, while participating in many sports throughout her four years at Unity. She has been active in Unity’s FFA chapter, and is currently serving as the sentinel on the officer team. Ashlynn is also a member of the student council and is the class vice president. For the past four years she has spent most of her time in athletics, as she competes in basketball, volleyball, and softball. She is also on the high honor roll and has been a member of the SAA since freshman year. In her free time Ashlynn enjoys spending time with her family and camping. After graduation, Ashlynn plans to further her academic and athletic career at Quincy University. She plans on playing basketball and majoring in biology. |

November - Caleb Kasparie
Caleb is the son of Amanda and the late Jason Kasparie of Ursa, IL. He has participated in basketball and baseball all four years of high school. Caleb has also been active in the FFA chapter for all four years, attending the National Convention for two years and the State Convention one year. Although not a class officer, Caleb has stayed involved in all the Class of 2023 activities.
Caleb enjoys camping and spending time with family and friends. He enjoys mowing and spending time with their family dog, Nova.
After high school, Caleb plans on entering the workforce.

December - Carter Kasparie

Carter is the son of Amanda and the late Jason Kasparie or Ursa, IL. He has participated in basketball and baseball all four years of high school. Carter has served as the Class of 2023 Historian for those four years. Carter joined the Student Council this year and now serves as a Co- President.
In his free time Carter enjoys spending time with family and friends.
After graduation, Carter plans to further his education to get his Bachelor of Social Work degree.

January - Ryle Duke
Ryle is the son of Daron and Julie Duke. He has been involved in numerous clubs and extracurricular activities all four years of high school. He has received numerous honors throughout his FFA career including, Top Ten Chapter Reporter for the Illinois FFA Association, District Three Vegetable Production SAE Winner, and his Illinois State Degree. Ryle has served as a Chapter Officer for the past three years and is currently serving as the Section 11 Vice President. He has participated in football and basketball for all four years. He has been selected as an Illinois State Scholar and has been a member of the SAA since freshman year.
In his free time Ryle enjoys farming, fishing, hunting, reading, and teaching himself guitar.
After graduation, Ryle plans to attend the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and pursue a degree in Agricultural Markets and Management.

April - Addison Wetzel-Hemm
Addison is the daughter of Jordan and Kristen Wetzel. She has been involved in numerous clubs and extracurricular activities, while participating in golf throughout her four years at Unity. Addison has been active in art club along with creative writing throughout highschool. Addison is also a member of the student council and is the class secretary. She is also on the high honor roll and has been a member of the SAA since freshman year. In her free time Addison enjoys singing, performing, and spending time with family. After graduation, Addison plans to further her academic and athletic career at Culver-Stockton College. She plans on participating in golf and theater while majoring in business. |
May - Chance Ehrhardt
Chance Ehrhardt is the son of Alicia and Chris Ehrhardt of Mendon. Chance has been a member of the cooperative education program at UHS during his senior year. He works for Gooding disposal where he works 20 hours per week. He is often found running errands around the school and helping out where needed. Chance enjoys working, hanging out with friends and playing video games in his free time. Chances' futures plans are to continue working at Gooding disposal and getting his CDL. |
